Considering Changes To Oregon’s Death With Dignity Law

Podcast from Think Out Loud 3/22/19

Journalist Katie Engelhart discusses the case of Debra Koosed, a 65-year old woman diagnosed with dementia who ended her life with guidance from the FinalExit Network.
The podcast discusses 2 bills proposed by Rep. Mitch Greenlick (D-Portland)
One of the bills would broaden the definition of those eligible for the law by specifying certain degenerative conditions as eligible for the law.
The other bill would allow ingestion by other means.
Peg Sandeen from the Death With Dignity National Center, is opposed to both bills.
