World Right to Die Day November 2 and World Federation Conference

World Right to Die Day is celebrated November 2nd in participating countries around the world. The celebration was founded in France at the World Federation of Right to Die Societies Conference in 2008 and has since spread to other parts of the globe. Participating countries vary in their customs of celebration.

In conjunction with this special day, the World Federation is holding their annual conference in Toronto Ontario, hosted by Dying with Dignity Canada. Three of our board members, Faye Girsh, Janet Hager, and Christie Golumb, will be representing the Hemlock Society of San Diego at the conference. Our board members will participate in a full four-day program of meetings and speaker programs, and networking with other leaders in the global right to die movement. We are eagerly looking forward to sharing their report with our members and friends when they return! We thank each of you for your generous support that has enabled HSSD to be a longstanding member of the World Federation of Right to Die Societies. https://wfrtds.org/
