Session two in the series presented by Faye Girsh on July 8, 2021. This program covered the five different laws there and with interviews of three of the pioneers.  In 1996 the first person in Australia who died under a law was Bob Dent. We heard from his wife, Judy, and from the Chief Minister of the Northern Territory who prop0sed the first law, Marshall Perron.  We also talked with one of the pioneer doctors from Victoria, Rodney Syme, who was responsible for that state being the first in the country to pass the second assisted dying law in 2017 —22 years later!!
