Woman in Texas Arrested for Helping Her Ex-husband Die

According to an Odessa Police Department report, Sarah Regmund was booked into the Ector County jail on suspicion of aiding suicide, a state jail felony. Regmund told the officers Cheffo suffered from a rare and debilitating condition that left him bedridden for the most part, the report stated. During the course of their interview with her, police said Regmund told them she and Cheffo had been in touch with the Final Exit Network and representatives of that organization showed Cheffo how to kill himself.
